1999 West Florida Sunfish Pixie Circuit: Fall/ Winter #1

The first Pixie regatta of the season was held at Davis Island Yacht Club on October 17.   Twenty-two Sunfish sailors competed in winds ranging from 15-18Kts with many puffs of 20 and a lot of chop.

Jeff Linton won the A fleet division , winning two of the three races. Rod Koch, Joe Blouin, and Arthur, a newcomer to the Sunfish group all sailed quick and smart as they challenged Jeff and each other all day.

Jay Montero won the B fleet division with SaraBeth Reeves tight on his trail.
