2000 Florida PIXIE Kicks off
The first Pixie regatta of the Winter-Spring series was held at Boca Ciega Yacht Club on February 27, 2000. The winds ranged from 12-18mph with a lot of chop.
Charlie Clifton led the A fleet each race as Jeff Willis, sailing in B fleet, out-sailed his fleet competitors.

The Second and Third Regattas of the Winter-Spring Pixie Series are Scheduled for April.
Lets make the end of the season as successful as the beginning. Punta Gorda and Sarasota are both excellent areas to sail. So, mark your calendars and bring all of your sailing buddies to end the Pixie season with a bang!
Next (2nd) Pixie: This Pixie will be held at Punta Gorda on SATURDAY April 8, 2000. The skipper's meeting will be at 12pm and the first start at 1pm.
The last (3rd) Pixie: This Pixie will be held at Sarasota Sailing Squadron on SUNDAY April 30, 2000. The skipper's meeting will be at 12pm and the first start at 1pm.
Directions to Punta Gorda: I75 to Exit 30, west on Harborview Road, across US41 to next traffic light at Bayshore. Left on Bayshore, approximately ¼ mile on right.
