The Hyannis Y.C. Annual Regatta is a large, multi-class event with over 300 boats registered this year, it's 59th, in 11 classes on 5 starting circles plus two ocean racing classes. The Sunfish were on a circle with Sr. Beetlecats and Mitey Mites.

Friday was sunny with winds of 15-18 knots from the Northeast with a choppy sea. Six races were held with Drew Staniar dominating with 4 bullets and 2 seconds. On Saturday, it was sunny, the wind was lighter, 6 to 10 knots from the Northwest. Five races were held with Drew dominating again with 3 firsts. Sunday was again sunny and had winds of 6-12 knots from the Southwest. Four races were held with Drew Staniar winning three and winning the regatta by 28 points over Kate Mitsch, who was one point ahead of Lee Parks.
