Results from Peter Beckwith

The regatta was won by Drew Staniar with four bullets and one second. Paul Odegaard won the third race and was the only other race winner. Five races were held in a 10-12 mph southwest wind which increased during the day. By the last race the wind was up to 20 mph in gusts which resulted in several capsizes.

An easterly current made windward mark roundings interesting during the first three races resulting in several 360s for hitting the mark. After lunch the last two races were held in an increasing wind but, since the tide was changing, there was little current and several boats overstood the windward mark.
