Become a Member, Join the USSCA Class

Whether you’re interested in casual and fun sailing with a great group of helpful, friendly and fun people or want to get faster and better on the water against some of the best champions in the world, the Sunfish Class is the perfect choice for you. Our Mission Statement simply says, “To promote and develop Sunfish Class one-design racing worldwide under uniform rules, enhance the enjoyment of the boat and to provide an efficient medium of exchange of information and friendship among sailors.” That’s a fancy way of saying there’s something for everyone of all ages and genders who want to sail a Sunfish!

     Many local clubs sponsor casual and fun races. But there’s also a world-qualifying racing level if you want to explore your competitiveness. As a recognized International Class by World Sailing, championships are sailed all over the world providing great locations to travel to and combine with a family vacation. The ISCA also works hard to keep membership fees as low as possible and still provide a world class level of sailing from local club sailing to national and world championship sailing.

 Join the Class

Membership is on a calendar year basis and fees are due on January 1 each year. Your dues fee will be the same regardless of when during the year you join the class and expire December 31st. 

USSCA MEMBERSHIPS LEVELS: 

Membership to the USSCA/ISCA annual and set to expire on December 31st. Be advised when joining as a Family Member, select the option that includes you the primary member (at $50) and the appropriate number of additional members at $40 each. Membership 2024 PDF

ISCA COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES:

Select the ISCA Country Representative option, when selecting this option, you will need to complete this for each sailor you are registering.  2024 International Sunfish Class Dues - For up to 20 sailors, for additional sailors add US $15 per sailor.
